With only seven days remaining until it’s *officially* spring, Scene is here to inform you that Cleveland was recently ranked one of the snowiest cities in America by the folks at Golden Snow Globe.

Arctic temperatures and snowfall accumulation totals reaching nearly 20 inches greater than our winter average, helped Cleveland to earn the title as the second snowiest city in Ohio (nipping at the heels of Toledo) and the 13th snowiest city in the U.S.

Here’s a list of the top 20 cities. This year’s snowfall numbers are in parenthesis.

  2. So is that an average? I’d love to see East vs. West side stats. I bet the East side would jump a few in the rankings and the West would fall.
