Via Fox 8, a Cleveland couple who got married on Saturday used public transit to get around the city. Even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of Melanie and Joe Baur, who live downtown and use the RTA and city buses on a daily basis.
The Baurs, along with their party, took Lolly the Trolley downtown from the ceremony. Then, they hopped aboard the Waterfront Line in Tower City. This video is both a reminder that anyone can ride public transit, and a gentle invitation (from Baur himself) to consider alternative modes of transportation.
Baur is a member of The Transit Improvement Advisory Committee of RTA’s Citizen Advisory Board. That group appeared in Scene earlier this month.
