The stretch of highway between Fleet Ave. and the I-490 split was shut down for hours, causing damage and some seriously backed-up commuters. Now, Cleveland Police are reminding drivers that anyone whose vehicles were affected by the accident can make a report for potential reimbursement.
Cleanup of the small metal pieces (see below) that scattered onto the pavement and caused so much damage fell to the Ohio Department of Transportation, Cleveland police and firefighters. The driver of the truck has reportedly been fined for the incident and not tarping/covering his load. Thankfully, there were no injuries caused by the wayward debris, and the highway was back up and running by 7:45 p.m. last night.
Drivers can make an official report right here.

How about noting how the PD continues to say that the truck overturned when it clearly did not?
Multiple flats would really piss me off! The closing of 77 caused huge backups on 480, where I got trapped for about an hour, and even all the way over to 271. What an unholy MESS!
so who is going to make reimbursement?
