Scene is looking for several passionate interns to join our online editorial team this spring. We’re interested in candidates brimming with ideas, who want to hit the internet with amazing Cleveland stories. Writing is a huge part of this internship, so we’re looking for students with backgrounds in journalism and English.

Yes, that means you’re not just getting us coffee.

Candidates must be able to receive academic credit, and have reliable transportation. Interested parties should send a resume, cover letter and three article clips to Web Editor Laura Morrison at lmorrison@clevescene.com. The internship is set to start in mid-January.

Let’s hope the selected candidates are brimming with ideas that do not include unfunny snarks directed at certain ethnicities or other groups of Clevelanders, and that they hit the internet with amazing writing about Cleveland and the many Cleveland storiesthat can be found out there. Good luck and good hunting! Choose wisely!

  3. You hired a passionate intern to join your online editorial team a while back this fall. She was brimming with weird ideas, and hit the internet with amazingly goofy Cleveland stories. Writing was a huge part of this internship,…too bad she didn’t have much background in journalism and English. Please don’t make that same mistake again!

  5. Hopefully one of them can be based full time at crooked City Hall and the utterly corrupt Cuyahoga County administration building!!! It seems that we need people to monitor these crooks and thieves daily, for all they seem to do is steal every last dollar they can from us taxpayers!!!
