While the robbers ordered three employees to get on the ground, Cleveland police say three other employees grabbed their own handguns and began to fire at the robbers.
One suspect was shot six times by the Taco Bell employees and was later pronounced dead. By the time police were called to the scene at 2:45 a.m., the other suspect had escaped.
The man killed was 24-year-old De’Carlo Jackson, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office reported today.
So far no one, including the employees, has been arrested in this case.
The fast food company is offering counseling for its workers.

If these $hitty fast food co’s are going to hire folks to work in gangland these employees have a right to defend themselves. Yum Brands had better pay for their defense and insulate these folks from civil lawsuits which will no doubt arise from the scumbag families of the criminal.
So irritating that the estate of a dead-criminal shot in the act has more rights than a victim.
Police should have good leads soon on the one who got away. For the safety of the public, armed robber should get 20 years so they can grow old enough before they get out.
