Cleveland teen photographer Lillie Smith is the latest to ignore private property laws to get a peek inside the ever-decaying Geauga Lake amusement park, which closed in 2007. She then blogged about the escapade on BuzzFeed‘s Community Page and posted the photos on Instagram. The results are below.

First up, the front entrance.

Now the Big Dipper, or the roller coaster you’d need a neck adjustment after riding.

“Welcome back riders. How was your ride?” ***Everyone lets out an obligatory cheer***

  1. OMG I LOVE these photos! Makes me so sad 🙁 I miss Geauga Lake. I remember when they couldn’t make up their mind on the name. It went from Geauga Lake, to Six Flags, then back to Geauga Lake again! Lol. The Villain will always be my favorite wooden rollercoaster!

  2. Nice pictures but isn’t breaking into someplace illegal? Let me get this straight – “breaking into” an abandoned amusement park is ok, but breaking into a bank isn’t? Why are we glorifying her illegal activates?

  3. Tell me if you were given the chance to take these pictures that you wouldnt?!? I sure would!!! OoO she did something illegal like no one has done something fun but it was illegal. So what everyone does something that they are not suppose to!!! And just an fyi she was escorted out by security cops were called but never showed!!! So sure wasnt a big deal to them!!!

  4. The motives for breaking into a bank are going to be different than the motives here. Glorifying illegal activities….lol looks like you need to get laid and lighten up! Now if someone actually got hurt here or ROBBED it’d be a different story. How do you compare mischievous vs ROBBERY….seriously when you attempt to use logic at least TRY

  5. Of course its different! But tis still illegal for a reason. You missed the point genius – why is it that some rules are ok to break, while others aren’t? Who makes up that rule book? What if she got seriously hurt or died as a result of her actions? Then her illegal activated might be viewed differently. And you can guarantee that someone would sue, so yes – rules and laws are put there for a reason. Oh – did you know that stop signs with white borders are optional? Just go though one next time you see a cop.
