Three watch parties were held at The Jake for the road games in Chicago, drawing more than 67,000 fans and raising more than $330,000 for local charities. The team has also donated more than $2.5 million to the Cleveland Boys & Girls Club.
“I want to thank the Indians for thinking about the community as they always do, like I said, it’s very consistent for them to think about using this money for the greater good in the community,” said Ron Soeder, President of the Cleveland Boys & Girls Club told WEWS.
Each of the watch parties sold out within the same hour of going on sale.

They were neat charitable events – since the money generated from ticket sales were clearly earmarked for local charities. It makes the game played by Amazing Tickets – scooping up ducats in some manner – and selling them on its secondary resale website at upwards of 2000% markup (before any service and/or processing fees)……simply hideous.
