We’re killing it, Cleveland.

Billboard Magazine has named Cleveland’s House of Blues one of the 25 hottest clubs in the nation.

The rating is based on attendance from Jan. 1 to June 1 this year, and Billboard Boxscore says our good ol’ HoB drew in a crowd of 79,252. That puts us at number 12 in the country.

A complete list will run in next month’s issue of Billboard Magazine.

Until then, here’s a preview, courtesy of 19 Action News.

  1. I realize this is being posted only because you sponsor their stage name, but I have never met a single person in Cleveland that actually enjoys going to House of Blues. Congrats anyway, I guess. A lot of people came to see some good bands perform in your shitty venue.

  2. People go to see bands because they like the band, regardless of whether or not they like the venue that band is playing in. This is positive for the Cleveland music scene, because it proves that we do come out and support bands that make a tour stop in Cleveland.
