Cleveland enthusiast Nick Offerman, also known to most as the terrifically strange Ron Swanson on NBC’s hit TV show, Parks and Recreation, will bring his “swanologues” to Cleveland’s Content Marketing World September 8 – 11.

The award-winning actor, comedian, writer, and — unsurprisingly — woodworker, has been added to the list of the convention’s celebrity keynote speakers to lecture on all the best marketing strategies he has up his sleeve.

With previous speakers like Kevin Spacey and William Shatner, Joe Pulizzi, founder of the Content Marketing Institute, recently told Cleveland.com that they like to choose speakers who are a bit “unconventional.” Well, Pulizzi, you did good.

“Offerman has developed the reputation as one of the most creative artist in Hollywood. He has a unique take on storytelling, and what it takes to get attention in a smartphone world,” Pulizzi said.

Apparently, Offerman will be sharing stories, explaining why taking risks are important, and sharing all his knowledge on how to “stand out in a world of sameness,” i.e. how to grow and groom an A-list stache.

This year’s Content Marketing World will be held at the Cleveland Convention Center and will also feature Oscar-nominated actor, John Cleese, and many more. Check out their website for additional details and agenda.
