I’d like to comment on “Caught on Tape” [February 21]. Ms. Stevens has been taping this cop since April of 2006. Now why would anyone be taping phone converstations for 8 months and state that they are so afraid of this person and this person is harassing them.
If someone was harassing me, I wouldn’t keep answering the phone and continue to hold conversations with them. Even worse I would not be calling them numerous times or go places with them and later state that they were stalking me. Would you invite a “so called stalker” over for Thanksgiving dinner? Ms. Stevens did!
Come on, when are you and everyone else going to realize this is a game for these two idiots. Did
Ms. Stevens even comment in your story? Doesn’t appear that way to me. So why is her convicted felon brother Emanuel contacting you about this story? Sounds like revenge. Sounds like he is a punk who isn’t
man enough to face this guy and is now using the police and the media to get revenge.
The only victim in my eyes is their son, who is going to suffer in the long run when he has no medical
coverage and no responsible person to financially support him. Does Ms. Stevens even have a job? Sounds like a scorned woman seeking revenge who doesn’t care about her son’s future. What do the parents tell
this boy 10 years from now when he finds out about this fiasco? Good job, mom and uncle, you screwed my father over and hurt my future.
Another child you and I have to support because these two idiots are too stupid to realize that this little boy is the one losing out.

  1. I’d also like to comment. I also know Emanuel and Elizabeth. Emanuel, convicted felon, on federal probation, would rip off his own mother for a nickel. Ask anyone who knows him and “piece of shit” comes to mind. Elizabeth, nice girl but has some issues and unfortunately listens to the piece of shit. Maybe the piece of shit can support this child and pay for his health care. Better yet Emanuel will just open up a checking account in some one else name as he has done in the past and support the child. One idiot and one scorned woman.

  2. I’d also like to comment.I would never waste my time commenting on a story but when I saw Emanuel Steven’s name I had to reply. Baking tree shaped cookies? How about cell key shaped cookies. He is a punk as stated. Do a story on him and see how many negative results you get. Here let me help you.
    2001 tried to kill his then girlfriend in Independence. Convicted in Federal prison for accidentally setting his car on fire and then collecting the insurance money. Then gets out and put back in federal prison for stealing credit card numbers and identity theft. Amazingly gets out early and the family that was paying his legal bills get busted for drug trafficking. How about “Snitch”. This guy even used his sister’s information to open an account with the illuminating company and racked up thousands in her name. I guess it is expensive growing marijuana from home. Oh and lets no forget how he scammed his former business partner and roomate out of tens of thousands of dollars when he opened up a restaraunt with her and then threatened her. All you need to do is go to pretty much any city’s police department and there will be a report on file for this loser. He is a little pussy who now can add at least one more enemy on his list. And unfortunately is going to ruin someone elses life. Would I want my kid aroung this loser, no way in hell.

    It is amazing to me that the original email i sent you about some of real story was even edited by you and parts were left out. I would think when someone comments on one of your articles you would print their entire comment. You of course edited it and did not print everything stated. This goes to show me how one sided and unprofessional your reporters are. You don’t do your research and are merely a tabloid. This is why scene magazine is Free. No one in their right mind would pay for this crappy reporting.
