At least in this reported instance of someone attempting to bring contraband into a Cuyahoga County jail facility, the responsible party doesn’t appear to be a guard, which is good news.

Still, according to multiple reports detailing multiple instances where no details were shared by the County, a jail guard at the Euclid jail facility “sometime” in the past week saw “something” drop “something” into the jail yard. The second something might have been a drone, according to the county, which declined to specify what the first something actually was, though the assumption is something that should not be allowed in the jail, or a specific day on which this was supposed to have happened.

A Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s investigation is underway.
