This is “Dino.”
Dino had a bit of an accident today. He fell off a cliff near Lake Erie and firefighters worked for over an hour to rescue the 6-year-old, over 100-pound pup.
End of story? Nope.
See, Dino’s had a bit of a rough life.
Not only is he half-blind, but Dino spent the first part of his little doggy life in L.A. as a guard dog in Watts for a notorious street gang that ran drugs.
The details, if you have some tissues at the ready, are after the jump.

Vince G: Your “writing style” pretty much sucks. I cant say it enough. You seem like you are trying to be “edgy” and “cool”, but you really just come off as a self righteous douche bag. WTF is wrong with you?
Thanks for the personal side to this story. I saw it TV but you did a much better job reporting the real deal. Thanks again!
I think the story was touching, so many animals abused by humans!! The dogs are aggressive because of what they are taught. I have rescued a pit bull, I have had him for about 2 yrs. now. He still doesn’t like men, and crowds. But, he trust me now, and we have a special bond. Took some time, but it is a happy ending. Please don’t be cruel to animals, they are your best friend. They love you so much, and help when you alone or sad. And, if you Vince G, don’t have anything nice to say. Shut your mouth!! How rude of you..Love to Dino and his new owners. Hope you heal soon..love you..from an animal protector..
