
Cuyahoga County Council announced this week that it will stream its meetings online, catalog previous meetings so the public can search and watch those too, and will adopt a stronger social media presence. (You can find council at twitter.com/cuyahogacouncil; they are up to a staggering 54 followers at the moment.)
Operating in a post-Dimora world (Unofficial slogan: Show me the receipt for that steak dinner), county offices and employees are taking transparency seriously, and making council meetings accessible to anyone with a decent internet connection or a neighbor who doesn’t have a password on their wireless is a hopeful step.
