Retired Open-wheel auto racer Danica Patrick is coming to Baldwin Wallace University next Saturday, Sept. 28, as part of the school’s Voices of Inspiration lecture series.

Since retiring, the only woman to win an IndyCar Series race has published a book called Pretty Intense and recently launched a podcast of the same name, where she interviews personalities about winning their own “races” to success.

Now, Patrick will switch to the viewpoint of interviewee in a discussion with University President Bob Helmer about competition and the energy it takes to succeed.

The event starts at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public, though a ticket is required to enter the Ursprung Gymnasium in the Lou Higgins Center in Berea.
