Summer and sushi seem to go hand in hand. Perhaps it’s sushi’s light, fresh and healthy taste that keeps sushi bars humming during the warm, sunny months. Shinto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar (17070 Pearl Rd., 440-878-3868, shintoexperience.com) is no exception.
This ever-popular spot in Strongsville keeps things light with its festive sushi rolls, like the glitzy lobster roll ($15.00). South African cold-water lobster tails are tempura battered and fried, rolled with cucumber and daikon radish in rice, and served with housemade lemon sauce. The crunchy, sweet and satisfying roll is just the ticket for the Dog Days of summer, and though it’s large enough to share, we suggest you order a backup.

Looks tasty! Hope there’s enough lobster in there to make it worth it!
