Superman’s House

Considering the blockbuster release of Man of Steel, it is the perfect time to visit the Glenville home of Superman co-creator Joe Shuster. Both Shuster and Jerry Seigel created the iconic superhero while attending Glenville High School in the early 1930s. That’s right, Cleveland can claim the right to the birthplace of Superman. So, take a drive to the boyhood home and read the City of Cleveland plaque dedicating the home. It’s Super-cool! 10622 Kimberly Ave., Glenville

A Christmas Story House

“You’ll shoot your eye out, kid” — a line that is embedded into our brain every holiday season by the infamous movie A Christmas Story. The house that Ralphie and his family called home for the shooting of the movie is, in fact, located in Tremont. Restored back to its movie days glory, you can tour the house 365 days a year. Open Thursday through Sunday, the cost is $10 for adults and $6 for kids. Everyone needs a Facebook pic of you inside this house. Check it out!
