Down south in Cincinnati, former Bengal Nate Webster is sweating through the opening moves of a criminal trial for allegedly having sex with his 15-year-old babysitter. The former NFLer isn’t denying the illicit interaction went down, just that the girl was at the time in question 16 – Ohio’s age of consent – despite admitting otherwise to police. Right now lawyers for both sides are duking it out over the age, and all types of sordid details are dropping out in the process.
According to the Enquirer, the unnamed girl worked for Webster in 2009, when the Bengal was 31. The prosecution alleges Webster knew the girl as far back as when she was ten. The relationship between the two ran a predictably classy course, with Webster employing the girl, plying her with booze and weed, then embarking on a series of sexual trysts behind the tinted glass of his car.
The girl eventually told her parents. Police got involved: they outfitted the now-victim with a wire, and in the subsequently recorded conversation – the prosecution’s main courtroom artillery – Webster admits the two had sex when she was only 15. When police played Webster the tape, he confessed.

They are only in court because the football player wouldn’t pay the parents price to keep quiet about their “little girl” and the ex-NFL player. All about the $$$$. So sad …
Even if she was 16 at the time that is still a crime because in Ohio if the minor is 16 the adult having sex with her can be no older then 4 years older so he could only be as old as 20 years of age for it to be considered legal sex. At least thats what I was told by a police detective a few years back when I had trouble with an older man pursuing my at the time teenage daughter. There are like 3 degrees of legal trouble for having sex with a minor. If they are under 13 it is the worst and considered rape of a child, 13 to 15 is considered statuary rape and then 16 to 18 is considered non consensual sex with a minor even if the minor willingly had sex with the adult. ( it goes something like that its been awhile so I may be slightly off a little ).
31 and 16? Hmmm…He ought to have known better but thats the thug life for you…Above the law….
I’m glad that a price tag isn’t being met so this all goes away. If you’re going around having sex with 15 year olds, you deserve whatever penalty comes with it. Money-grubbing parents or not, you don’t find yourself in the court room if you avoid doing things like having sex with 15 year olds after giving them illegal drugs and alcohol.
So all he can get is a 15 year old? Sad.
