Big Frack continues to make a hard push into Ohio, with news coming this week that three energy companies are pooling in on a major natural gas processing plant in Columbiana County. The $900 million project — that’s a hell of a lot of clams — could churn out 600 million cubic feet of gas daily once it’s up and running, so says the Wall Street Journal. The developers hope the plant will go online sometime in spring 2013.
The largest tuna on this project is the Chesapeake Energy Corp, who’ve teamed up with smaller outfits M3 Midstream and EV Energy Partners. Combined, the companies have the drilling rights to 2 million acres across Ohio. Although a lot of outfits have tired to jump on fracking here, the industry til now has lacked the kind of infrastructure that could knock profits out of the park. This investment would fix that.
It’s no surprise Chesapeake is leading the charge on the project. The company is the second-largest natural gas producer in the states, according to the Akron Beacon Journal, and racked up $1 billion in debt in order to grab more drilling rights over the last year.

Sounds like a scam. Are we so desparate in Ohio that we have to stoop to this. Well, if the companies doing it and the governor see it as fine…what are we waiting for? Let’s frack the fuck out of the state and let Mother Nature sort it out.
Let’s just ask Rush or the Triv what they think about fracking. They are smart and would not steer us wrong. They know Obama is behind all of our problems and everything will be fine if we just get a good old republican in the White House. We need true Americans like Rush to lead us out of our problems. After all, ask any republican, they have all the right answers all of the time.
So with great leaders like our governor and the Ohio house (on haunted hill), why have we had so many problems seeing eye-to-eye. Are we divided in Ohio like the rest of the country is? Do we hate our other party neighbors because they have different political ideas. Hey folks, None of us know what our political or religious beliefs are. We just vote for a guy, be it Obama or Mitt, Mohamed or Jesus or Budda..we pick it out of a deck of cards now days..What do you think, kid? Do you want to be like the Mahareeshi? We will give you a fucking mantra and some insence and send you home to piss the old man off.
There was a time when I cared about what men thought. I’d kiss their ass for money and attention. Then I found out that men pretty much treat the entire life force on the planet the same sorry-assed way..They fuck it and frack it and have their way with it and then roll over and smoke a cigarette.
What I like best about The Scene is that they publish my crap no matter what. I can talk like a sailor or preach like Earnest Angsley…they don’t give a fuck..as long as I don’t mention the other newspaper in town and the sorry-assed blog they run and kicked me off of..everything is cool.
