The budget-friendly air carrier Frontier is offering flights from Cleveland today to several U.S. destinations for just a buckaroo.

That’s right, folks: One dollar flights.

Of course, there’s a boatload of fine print and the destination cities are super limited, nevertheless Tampa, Orlando, Fort Myers, Seattle, Las Vegas, and Atlanta are all listed for one-way “dollar” flights on select days between Sept. 2-16. With processing and fees, the total ticket price jumps up to a whopping $15.

Naturally, the sale has caused some excitement among travelers and when we tried to click through for ticketing we were blocked by this message:

  1. Removing the sorry did actually work tried for Cleve to ft Myers they had outbound flight for $15.00 for sept 15th and 16th but all other dates $59 to $79 and no returning flights for the deal period for $15.00

  2. I got in and found you have to pay a fee for your seat ($12, $24, or $45). There is no way to get a $15 ticket! Cheapest is $27 on way and good luck finding a cheap seat back home.

  3. You don’t have to pay for a seat assigned unless you have a preference. There’s no add-on if you let them assign one. Your reservation is still valid. I’m flying to Atlanta and that worked for me.
