Sponsored by the Ohio Student Association, the fundraiser will feature live music and visual art.
Local acts Boxed Wine Mom, Apostle Jones, Key to the Mint, the Robin Blake Sound Experiment with Alexander Wright & the Collective, and Meg & the Magnetosphere will perform.
An art show featuring local art inspired by criminal justice reform will also be on display, and there will be live painters and more interactive artistic activities.
The event begins at 8 p.m., and admission is a $10 suggested donation that’ll go directly to support those impacted by the Cuyahoga County Jail. Cash and Paypal will both be accepted at the door. Beer and wine will be for sale at the cash-only bar.

Remember when young people went to concerts and sometimes even made music for fun? I suppose it’s easier to right fake wrongs that write new songs.
We just need to start banishing people from Cleveland. Let some other place enjoy these poor mistreated inmates that would crap on their own mother for 25 cents.
Fake wrongs?
Jesus you people are uninformed and unintelligent. Easier to just say “fuck em” than to do any actual research into what really goes on in that hell hole downtown, eh?
Fake wrongs like denial of clean food and water, denial of hygiene items like toilet paper and toothpaste, rodents and insects running rampant in food storage areas, guards encouraging violence against inmates, guards identifying inmates who work with the guards to other inmates setting them up for retaliation, not meeting nutritional requirements with their shitty food and contaminated water, and the list goes on and on. Read the Marshalls report on CCJ, you won’t believe it could happen in America and you’ll be way more informed than the idiots above me.
This is a jail, which means the vast majority of those held there have been convicted of no crime at all, yet. I guess fuck the Constitution and it’s innocent until proven guilty ideals. Hilariously, these angry, probably Republican cunts above me (when did Scene’s comments section become the province of angry Republican cunts?) would probably give endless lip service to the greatness of the Founding Fathers and the Constitution, so long as they don’t have to pay out any tax money or think about a difficult subject for more than 10 seconds before giving their ironclad, dumbass, self righteous opinion.
Republicans, our morality only goes as deep as our own pickets. Republicans, hey we’re gonna make America great again, so long as we don’t have to put out any money, or do any actual fucking work or thinking. You people really are the worst, give me a repentant jail inmate who recognizes that he’s not perfect and needs to change over a self righteous twat, Republican or Democrat, any day.
Will George Soros be in attendance?
Yes, I heard he’s flying in to put it in your mother’s butt after the show…
