This is not the opening scene in a pornographic film.

  • This is not the opening scene in a pornographic film.

Though its provenance is as of yet unknown, a pornographic video called “Sexy Babe,” was discovered on the Ohio Department of Natural Resources website this weekend.

The Columbus Dispatch reported that there’s a component of the ODNR site which deals with well data (you know, for the state’s wells) and that within or related to that component, there’s a file transfer protocol (FTP) site used primarily for companies to transfer large files. Things like maps. Not porn.

But get this: No credentials were required to do any of these transfers, which means you or I or any of these guys could transfer whatever they darn well pleased, including, but by no means limited to, porn. People were basically using the ODNR site for cloud storage.

Two porno flicks were uploaded Feb. 21 and discovered Sunday (one of which was “Sexy Babe”). A bunch of music was also there, evidently.

ODNR took the material down, and now intends to make some sort of credentials necessary for future file sharing.

  1. Will Kasich proudly point out the freedom of this file sharing while on the campaign trail??

  2. Idk, “Sexy Babe” was mediocre at best. Now “Sexy Babe” 7,8 and 9, pure entertainment!

  3. It was up there for over a week before anyone that works in their IT department noticed or opened it?! Or before someone on their “geek squad” spilled the beans? At the department of natural resources?! Who’s running that department…Lambda Lambda Lambda?!
