The smash-hit hip-hop musical
Hamilton is coming back to Cleveland next year, Playhouse Square just announced.
“My absolute favorite question that people ask me is will
Hamilton ever come back?” said Gina Vernaci, Playhouse Square President and CEO, in a statement. “Yes. For the rest of our lives
Hamilton will be coming back. We were one of the first cities to see it and one of the first cities to get the return for the most in-demand show of a generation.”
Running from Sept. 22 through Nov. 1, the show comes to Cleveland for a nice six-week stay, but that doesn't mean it's going to be cheap and easy to snag tickets.
Just like it did the last time
Hamilton came to town, Playhouse Square is making people purchase tickets to other incoming musicals if they want a guaranteed shot at scoring seats.
Fans can purchase
Hamilton tickets starting Monday at 10 a.m. at
playhousesquare.org for a five show-package that also includes
Anastasia, Jesus Christ Superstar, My Fair Lady and
Frozen. Prices for the combined show tickets run from $295 to $495.
Individual
Hamilton tickets won't go on sale until next summer.
