Update: 49-year-old William Horning was sentenced to two years and nine months for headbutting a priest, among other transgressions less egregious than headbutting a priest. Well, he also hit two Cleveland cops with a car on his getaway from St. Georges Church last February, which is up there in the crime stratosphere, as well. (WOIO)

Strangest crime story emanating from Cleveland today: cops say a man who had already collected $27,000 from the Annunciation of Greek Orthodox Church in Tremont for work he never completed came back asking for more money and more work.
When the priest said no and said he was going to call the police, our gentleman, who is apparently not a god-fearing criminal, headbutted and punched the priest. This is the sort of stuff St. Peter doesn’t take lightly, and neither do the cops.
Oh, there’s more. When two undercovers showed up, the dirtbag ran into him with a car, according to 19 Action News.
Cops are looking for the suspect right now. They might want to check Rainbow Babies and Children. He’s probably over there punching kids in the face.

Fools and head-butters of all kinds populate the globe. We can not even seem to do business among one another without head-butting.
In a twist in Ohio politics Mayor Jackson and the governor have found common ground in several ideas pertaining to education. It seems that control of deciding which schools and teachers should be listened to and paid money for their teaching of students is at the center of the agreement. Money and power of judging teachers and schools both charter and public via tests of progress are not in my opinion a good idea. Our bubble tests have caused education to become more and more based in money, rather than in teaching ethics and philosophy and thinking skills which lead to more civil behavior by our young and old alike.
It does make for great discussion and it is encouraging to see two politicians of the two main parties at least sitting at the table and looking for solutions to the giant problems of our city and stat and country. Education is one of the keys to change, but education and its’ goals and tests and evaluations must be looked at much closer and with an open and loving eye.
All of the best educators know that only a happy student can learn and only a happy teacher can teach and that learning and teaching are of the same process and that the roles must be seen as reciprocal.
We know far more about learning and teaching than our politicians and lawyers and educators may think. There are many very simple basics that the education system of today does not adhere to. Until we change our teachers to learn to teach correctly and to teach thinking skills rather than memorization skills, we can not truly change our education system.
This dooshbag needs a couple of rounds with my nail studded baseball bat….
So this guy ripped off a church for $27,000, injured a priest, and then tried to run down two police officers? I’m shocked that all he got was two years behind bars. Glad he’s there though, this piece of garbage deserves to be locked up.
