An endeavoring deer clearly looking for a shortcut to downtown crossed all 4,233 feet of the Inner Belt Bridge last night, her trip captured by Channel 5’s ace overnight photographer Mike Vielhaber.

The courteous creature, traveling at about 30 mph, stayed to the right and allowed faster drivers to pass, which is better traffic decorum than most Cleveland drivers display, before exiting at Ontario Street.

  1. CPD is citing the deer for lack of license and registration. Sketch photo should be released shortly.
