[image-1]Gov. John Kasich appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night.

Paired with Colbert’s classic wit, Kasich gets to massage his message of positivity as he warms up in time for the South Carolina primary. If political rhetoric is your thing, Kasich has certainly garnered attention for the distance he’s putting between himself and the horse-race party mechanics. 

“The Republican party is my vehicle,” he says. “It is not my master.”

There’s also a rather tense moment where the two get into the manufactured controversy over the impending Supreme Court nomination.

The end to the part-time governor’s full-time presidential primary campaign will occur well before March 15…….when internal polling clearly shows he cannot win Ohio and the sugar daddy cash has dried up. Kasich can then shed his “born-again politician” persona get back to being an egotistical smart-mouth.

  2. So if the only people that are good candidates are ones that are currently not holding a political position, I take it you are voting for Donald Trump, LakeErieSeaGulls? Or are Bern and Hill spending most of their time in DC and with their constituents in New York and Vermont, respectively? #Logic
