Hot Sauce Williams is a renowned Cleveland dining institution for its ribs, polish boys, the little purple and pink restaurant on Carnegie, and its BBQ sauce. Now Hot Sauce Williams is branching out, to Colorado, to make Pot Sauce Williams, a marijuana-laced BBQ sauce. Yummers.
Colorado, of course, has legalized medical marijuana, and like the other 14 states in that boat, isn’t too strict about who gets that ganja and what medical needs it’s acquired to treat. Edibles — food infused with pot — are huge business in those states.
Which is where Hot Sauce Williams comes in, because, as the report points out, you get sick of brownies after awhile.

Do you need a prescription now to eat ribs???
I hope it doesn’t have any high fructose corn syrup or modified food starch in it. If not, I’m game!
It will only be available in Colorado (and eventually other legal states… nearest is Michigan), with a prescription. Hot Sauce Williams doesn’t use transfats or High Fructose Corn Syrup in their current products or in this prototype sauce – the marijuana extraction is organic
Do you get the Munchies while eating this Hot Sauce?
It would be ironic if the law got overturned and then all the money they sank into getting this product off the ground would be wasted.
If this sauce is illegal, maybe there would be hardcore drug dealers and softcore pot BBQsauce dealers.
Pot is stupid and so are you. Go listen to more emo music while you cry about how hard your life is. What a horrible idea. I just lost any respect I had for Hot Sauce Williams. Never knew a bunch of sell-out hippies ran the place, I always thought respectable people did.
This is even possible?
Still…HSW’s food doesn’t look all that unique…Not like they make their own buns or kielbasa…Food service grad ff? Prolly…
So Ganja based bbq sauce? This can’t possibly end well…
How can they ‘house’ the pot that’s going into the sauce? Isn’t it illegal to have posession of pot in Ohio? How are they getting around that law?
@SBoo: Maybe they’re testing it on Colorado
