So this made the digital rounds over the weekend, giving us in Cleveland a glimpse into a strange, alternate reality. 

The letter included here is a 1983 missive to Cleveland Indians CEO Gabe Paul, in which Donald Trump is “interested in purchasing the Cleveland Indians Baseball Team” for $13 million. (He later offered $30 million.)

The winning offer came from Richard and David Jacobs.
