We all know Joe the Plumber — the Toledo-native desperately trying to seduce the 15th and final minute of his Kardashian-grade fame into staying a little while longer by means of political office — thinks deeply before he speaks.
Like late-candlelit-hours-in-the-library deep, conscious-rattling-existential-brainwave-surfing deep. And when you’re cooking at such a high level, let’s be honest, you’re often misunderstood, just part of the big thinker rap. This is a man whose wide landscape of mental activity cannot be corralled by the soundbite or the teleprompter, enchained by “political correctness” or “good taste,” or spooked by the bourgeois conventions like morality or humanity the rest of us smaller beings cling to on the lip of the void.
That’s why when Joe — Sam Wurzelbacher by birth — says something like this, we’re just all too conventional to tap into his true meaning:
“You know, for years, I’ve said, you know, ‘Put a damn fence on the border going to Mexico and start shooting,'” he said. “I’m running for Congress, and that should be a bad thing to say. You know what, that’s how I feel. I’m not going to hide it because I’m running for an office. I want my borders protected. I’m very, very adamant about that.”
Yup, he said that.

what’s wrong with being honest?? oh yea it’s not politically correct! Joe has my vote, i like honesty over corrupt politics. iv’e been dealing with politicians who feel that contributions from two-faced lying dishonest corrupt theifs is moraly ok. sorry but i don’t buy into that type of mentality, honesty is the best policy!!!!!!!! the prosecution of corrupt politicians in this state is still in it’s infantcy. a-lot more to come if the F.B.I. is truly going after orgainized crime???? we will just have to wait and see how HONEST the F.B.I. is!!!!!! I’M STILL WAITING-AND WON’T GO-AWAY. i will recieve all lost income plus millions for the intentional pain and suffering i’ve been put thru with total malice. just because i stood-up for my right’s and those of my co-worker’s. i was told that my ex-mafia wife would leave and i would lose everything i’ve worked for. they kept there promise, and i’m keeping mine. they will pay. one -way or ANOTHER!!!!! it just depends on law-enforcement, which they say that they own and operate which so far is holding true.
If you want to run for office, you can’t say shit like this. This is convo more suited for your buddies in the backyard while you’re drunk on too much beer. Common sense.
Joe the Plumber later commented on his other great idea, The Mexipult. “This little baby will be set up in Kansas and will work like a Catapult, throwing Mexicans all the way from Kansas back into Mexico,” JTP said.
