For months, Governor John Kasich has been saying that public sector workers, including teachers, should take cuts in their salaries and benefits because the taxpayers who ultimately pay them aren’t doing so well in the current economy. He introduced the controversial Senate Bill 5, which would eliminate collective bargaining rights for public workers and give them no say in their benefits and working conditions. It’s now the target of a ballot repeal effort led by public-sector and other unions.
These workers apparently aren’t aware that Kasich really, really loves them.

He admires them. he just does not want them to be paid, have benefits or enjoy all their civil rights.
God forbid Kasich admire me next.
of course he does, seeing that the reason for the economy is his and the rest of his wallstreet cronies are totaly responseable. time to recall and throw this commie out of office. better yet throw him out of this country with our job’s.
You two are clueless.
Thanks Mr. Kasich! That makes me feel better about SB 5…
3 out of 4 here are the part of the problem. Civil rights, really?! Wall Street caused the economy to tank, Really?! Sure is wasn’t the greedy mortgage lenders that were directed by Clinton to lend money to anyone who wanted it under the guise of the CRA? Wall street trades negotiable items, where did those negotiable items come from. Does anyone remember the Junk-Bond crisis? Same thing, they bought bad debt and then they all tried to recover from it.
Now I’m not saying that they aren’t paid way to much and they do make their $$ off of the common man’s ignorance.
Hey the3dm:
Are you slow or something. Wall Street is the one who made whole the problem by not only knowing what they were buying, but betting on it to fall apart. Mr. Kasich not only was apart of it, but he made millions of dollars from it. Don’t get me wrong mortgage lenders play a big part in it, but Wall Street package all nice for the banks to buy and ran with the money. Which in return to the common man losing jobs, 401k, and whatever you can think of. Just remember when it’s tax time again in two years and you are paying more and more for local services and Mr. Kasich has to increase state taxes, because he unable to get the job done.
John Kasich is a moron. Apparently no public sector employee is allowed to make good money except for members of his staff. Some of whom we are paying $170k per year.
