New Ohio Governor John Kasich has apparently confused St. Patrick’s Day with Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, at least that’s what this proclamation, declaring March 17, 2011 as MLK Day, seems to indicate.

Plunderbund pulled this from the Governor’s site and saved a screengrab, which is helpful because Kasich has since pulled the incorrect document.
A mistake, for sure, but we’re open to discussing the shifting of holidays to more suitable months. For instance, we always thought Halloween would be better in September and Flag Day would just kill in February. We have always held our tongue because we thought our suggestions would fall on deaf ears. Finally Ohio has a leader who just might listen. After all, it’s not like these things are set in stone or anything.

What an idiot!!
Remember, the Governor wanted to hire the best people at higher wages. He didn’t care what color the people were – so he hired all white and got MLK day wrong. Good going Governor.
I am sure he did not pay attention to the date since he is a highly aid “robo signer”! 😉
Okay I can forgive him for this one but he better make it right!
