“Name your dream foursome,” is something uttered by many amateur golfers to other amateur golfers. It’s also daily breakfast conversation at Charlie Sheen’s house, but mainly it’s a topic among golfers.
Maybe it’s Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Charles Barkley. Maybe it’s Michael Jordan, Phil Mickelson, and John Daly.
We’re guessing if you asked President Obama that question, his answer would not be “John Kasich, John Boehner, and Vice President Biden,” but such are the costs of being Commander in Chief and having to golf with your political enemies and the drunk uncle who brings a bong to Thanksgiving dinner.
ABC News reports today that on June 18, that exact foursome will take place. In terms of overall stress levels for the President, this probably falls below dealing with ongoing strife in Libya but above finding out a Democractic congressman has been sending wide-angle shots of his donkey-bits to girls all over the country.
Possible topics of conversation include: the merits of butter as a stand-alone option as pancake topping, whether LeBron’s legacy can ever recover from The Decision, the debt ceiling, and maybe, just maybe, while Boehner or Kasich stands over a crucial putt, just where everyone’s approval ratings stand.
