This Wednesday, popular Little Italy landmark La Dolce Vita will celebrate its 25th year of slinging pasta. “It has been a very good 25 years and I would of never made it unless I was in such a great neighborhood,” says owner Terry Tarantino.

Since opening in 1989, the restaurant has been a catalyst for the continued popularity of Little Italy. “I love this neighborhood for so many reasons: my family, many friends and the many Italian-Americans that have built Little Italy into a great place,” says Tarantino.

To commemorate the quarter century mark, La Dolce Vita will have monthly parties from May through September highlighted by a different food and beverage theme. May’s theme will be a pasta party and guests are encouraged to check out the restaurant’s Facebook page for additional party details.

“I set out to design a cafe and a restaurant that basically exemplifies the words ‘the sweet life,’ or as we say it, la dolce vita.”
