Things just wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t close out 2014 with one last callback to County Exec Ed FitzGerald’s silly driver’s license travails. Blessedly, the fine folks at the Lakewood Observer aren’t letting that happen.

The paper’s owner and publisher, Jim O’Bryan, happened to catch FitzGerald caught up in a fender bender last week. You can check out a sequence-of-events series of photos at that link, if you’re so inclined.

Maybe just sticking with the learner’s permit was a better idea, after all?
