As we predicted six days ago in our post about LeBron’s new Yankees-inspired Nike kicks, the pinstriped shit hath hit the fan, as evidenced by a growing list of comments left on yesterday’s Cleveland.com story. The PD even devoted almost an entire page in today’s paper to reproducing some of the very intellectual comments.
Selections included: “I cannot wait until this overrated, classless NY sycophant moves along. Quit propping the classless, overrated player. Quit being as stinking LeBron cheerleader. The sooner he goes, the better,” which was eloquently contributed by Bruiser. Absolutely man; my favorite part of the NBA season is the draft lottery drawing too. LeBron should definitely move on.
But before this Yankees thing gets too far out of hand, fans should know that there’s more footwear news on the horizon. …
