Fresh audio from the FBI’s Cuyahoga County Corruption Time Life Recordings — a great gift for friends and family, by the way — used at the trial of former judge Steven Terry has been posted at NewsNet5, and for that we are thankful.
There’s a whole pile of conversations — between Dimora and Russo, Russo and Terry, and more — that serve both to illustrate just what kind of bullshit-laden, expletive-filled, pompous grandstanding the Feds had to listen to as they investigated Dimora and company, and to give us, the taxpaying public, a peak into how our leaders operated.
One thing’s for sure, especially in the Dimora/Russo conversations, is that Jimmy Dimora is Italian. Yep, it’s a fact. And more than that, it’s clear he either could have been a Democratic big-wig politician in Cleveland or just as easily hawked slices of pie in Brooklyn or been an extra in a Scorcese film.
This is basically what he sounds like the entire time, paraphrasing only slightly: “Nooooooooooooooo. This guy. This fucking guy. This fucking guy over here with the fucking thing. Nooooooooooooo. What are they trying to do? That won’t work. This fucking guy over here thinks he can do that. Nooooooooooo. This fucking guy, I tell ya.”

CNN exclusive: FBI misconduct reveals sex, lies and videotape

Washington (CNN) — An FBI employee shared confidential information with his girlfriend, who was a news reporter, then later threatened to release a sex tape the two had made.
A supervisor watched pornographic videos in his office during work hours while “satisfying himself.”
And an employee in a “leadership position” misused a government database to check on two friends who were exotic dancers and allowed them into an FBI office after hours.
These are among confidential summaries of FBI disciplinary reports obtained by CNN, which describe misconduct by agency supervisors, agents and other employees over the last three years.

I thought it was pretty funny that the Plain Dealer said they were talking about how “inept” one judge was, but then they quoted Dimora saying “She won’t do anything for you. You can’t get a favor out of her.” She sounds very competent to me!
