A tenacious media type should attempt to pin down Sherrod Brown on the issue — since he counts as grassroots allies the Service Employees International Union Local 1199, AFSCME Ohio Council 8 and Amalgamated Transit Union Local 268 – supporters of the ballot initiative – and the Cleveland Building & Construction Trades Council, which favors the deal.
