She’ll deliver “healing messages” to audience members and “give people comfort knowing that their loved ones who passed are still with them.” A special feature of the performance, “The Experience” will bring Caputo face-to-face with her fans, and a video display ensures everyone in the venue will receive an up-close-hands-on experience.
“The experience isn’t about believing in mediums. It’s about witnessing something life-changing,” says Caputo in a press release. “It’s like Long Island Medium live, witnessing first-hand spirit communication.”
Caputo released her latest book, Good Grief: Heal Your Soul, Honor Your Loved Ones, and Learn to Live Again, in 2017.

Why? Why would you give publicity to a charlatan who makes their living taking advantage of the gullible and grieving? She’s a parasite with no real talent beyond being good at cold reading. Disgusting, shame on MGM Northfield Park for giving credence to this huckster.
Who is this POS? Obviously, one who follows Barnum’s advice…that there’s a sucker born every minute.
And thanks to today’s technology, there’s a new sucker to fleece every SECOND! But yet you aid and abet her chicanery. Did she pay you off? What a complete waste of space and time and keystrokes.
Love her, love the show, the people above commenting never watched the show. Not sure I’m a believer but she helps a lot of people deal with grief regardless of the validity of her “gifts”. Show is very entertaining!
How, exactly, does she help them? By lying to them? Giving them simple lies and a false sense of comfort through nonsensical “spirit” world communication which she provides for a fee? Any idiot could do the same, fortunately most people have enough decency thay they would feel uncomfortable profiting from the grief of those suffering a recent, devastating loss. She’s Sylvia Brown with a TV show. Who’s that? Oh only another scumbag psychic who’s known for telling lies, like the time she told a pair of grieving parents who’s young daughter had disappeared that she was still alive and had been a victim of sex trafficking when, in fact, she had been murdered and her body was later discovered in a shallow grave a few miles from their home. Is that the kind of “help” you’re talking about? This creature has less humanity and decency than something you’d scrape off of your shoe after walking through a dog park.
Why am I bothering trying to educate someone who doesn’t even have enough brains to figure out the fact that reality shows are not reality. They are staged and this woman is a fraud. All she is doing is taking advantage of the grieving and bereaved by telling them what they want to hear. It’s despicable and anyone involved in shooting her show and publicizing or promoting it ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Oh, BornAgainst…I’m an atheist who isn’t afraid to accept the possibility that there’s another side to this existence. All this woman does is tell people to stop blaming themselves for the loss of a loved one. In 2019, no one believes reality television is real. People still spend a ton of money watching “Professional’ Wrestling…people paid tons and tons of money to watch Kiss lipsynch through a 2 hour concert…it’s entertainment. You wouldn’t know that because you’re writing paragraphs on an “ENTERTAINMENT” website about something you’ve never seen. Everyone dies eventually. Some people can’t get on with their lives after they lose a child or partner…this chick does little more than tell people that the person they miss is ok and it’s not the fault of the loved ones getting the reading. It’s all positive and if it makes those who suffer in these situations feel the tiniest bit better, it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than paying some therapist every month for 20 years. Lighten UP FRANCIS!
At least when you pay a therapist, you’re getting advice from a professional, this woman knows as much about what happens when you die as anyone else who’s still alive, not a damn thing.
In case you can’t tell from my screen name, I’m also an atheist and I would say I’m also open to there being more out there. As an atheist, this bothers me even more because, similar to religion, cheap, easy answers to difficult questions does nothing for anyone besides making it easier for them to accept simple drivel as opposed to thinking deeply about the subject and perhaps growing as a human being, to say nothing of the discouraging effect people thinking they already have the answers has on actual investigation of these matters.
I’m done with this little discussion for the simple fact that you’re being completely disingenuous, you know damn well she says a lot more than “it’s not your fault” which is something that your average therapist or anyone else would tell them for free. I have seen the show thanks to some of my more gullible relations being into it, so give me a friggin break with that nonsense, you know damn well that isn’t true. Time to examine your internal empathy meter, I think it’s broken if you feel its A-OK to take advantage of the vulnerable.
I have no empathy. Hail satan.
No, no, you were doing it right before. Hail Caputo! I see little difference between the two, other than Caputo definitely exists and Satan definitely does not. 😉
(In case the winky face didn’t make it clear, I’m just joshin with ya. No hard feelings, I just have strong opinions on this subject.)
Also, it’s not an official Scene comment section until WhatADump! shows up. So lock up thief Budish and taxin Jackson!
Haha, Dumpster, beat ya to it, yer slippin today! 😛
My psychic powers tell me these comments will disappear as soon as Caputo’s publicist sees them and makes an angry call to Scene…
I should have a TV show…
Why should an angry call from a con artist’s publicist get a handful of comments poofed by Scene, even as they continue to allow dozens of racist and homophobic comments against Highland Heights mayoral candidate Scott Mills to remain and multiply daily…for over a MONTH? If your psychic powers are correct, then there’s a good deal of hypocrisy afoot. My Magic 8-Ball tells me otherwise…”My sources say NO…”
Yeah, I saw that dumpster fire of a thread, didn’t want to go anywhere near it. I was mostly joking about them deleting comments, they don’t even have mods, at least none that I’m aware of. If I had to guess it’s simply a money saving thing, nobody is going to do it for free and I doubt they’d willingly pay for someone to do it. I guess we’ll see what happens…
Dumpster fire my ass…it’s a toxic waste spill….they buried it, but it’s still spreading and festering. Not because they don’t give a shit…they do delete sporadically and target the most outrageous and obscene stuff.
Clean-up is hit-or-miss most of the time because it appears to be handled by the editors and writers…they don’t appear to have any regular mods…can’t afford them anymore, I suppose…and need to cut costs.
But it shows. The trolls and spammers and loonies and crazies are feasting like ants at a picnic. Very sad.
This outfit needs more than just mods…they could use a good copy editor and also a proofreader. I’ve held both of those jobs, and I’d be willing to do it as a public service, in addition to needing the extra money (not gonna do it for free). But there has never been a reply…not even a f’k you or a kiss my ass. Like so many other publications, the print version of SCENE continues to shrink, so there is probably not enough in the budget to pay anyone to performfor those desperately needed tasks. And that’s really a damn shame.
OOPS…excuse the typo…and I’d also be wiliing to be a mod, as I have janitorial experience, too.
That’s WILLING…don’t know WTF is wrong with me today…probably need stronger glasses.
Friday, November 22nd? What a shitty way to mark the 56th anniversary of JFK’s death. I’ll pass.
