Since its founding in 2007, the Jevon Terance Fashion Line has picked up some serious traction. In 2012, Terance founded the Jevon Terance Boutique located in downtown Lorain — he just moved to a space located in the Lorain Palace Theater Building. Now, Terance, who produces an annual fashion show in Lorain County, has been been invited to showcase in Paris. His approach, as it’s explained in a press release, is “to inspire people to work at and wear what makes them happy.” His designs are mostly for everyday wear, but he also creates high fashion runway wear. In Paris, he’ll feature six of his designs at a show that takes place on Sunday, Oct. 4, at Marriott Champs Elysées. The event provides a platform for young and established designers from around the world to showcase their talent.

“This opportunity will raise awareness to citizens of surrounding communities and from the city of Lorain, that our community has a future and great things do happen here,” says Terance in a press release. “Having the opportunity to participate in this event, will not only be the first time a fashion designer from Lorain County, and possibly Ohio, presents work at Paris Fashion Week, but one step closer to becoming a well-known designer in the fashion industry within the United States and globally.”
