I read where it was being e-mailed she was an uncle tom because she got the job as judge on divorce court. I would like to say, as black people we are harder on one another than the white man could ever be on us at times we do not support one another, we would rather degrade one another and be unkind, envious, jealous of each other.
The fact that Mablean and Fox had a dispute had nothing to do with this lady, keep in mind had she not taken this job, someone else would have and the fact that another black lady has the chance to make a difference in someone’s life that should be the real issue. So the next time you want to blame the white man when things are going wrong for you, keep in mind, it’s thought if they don’t care about and support their own race, why should we?

Black Americans have no obligation to support EVERYONE that is black, just like white americans don’t support EVERYONE that is white. The WRONG people of any race need to be rooted out and denied support.
I was upset that Mabelean left Divorce Court but, since she did I was happy Lynn, a black woman, was chosen to replace her. I don’t know that being or not being an uncle tom has anything to do with that job. I don’t think so.
So far the only thing I have disagreed with Lynn on, is that there was a white man on the show who was divorcing his white wife because he believes women of color make better wives. As an AA woman I was happy to accept that compliment. For once a white man was acknowledging black women in a positive light and Lynn disagreed with his perception by saying, “Black woman have a lot of reputations, but being a good wife is not one of them.” Many many black women are excellent wives. She needs to be careful about buying into and supporting her own negative stereotypes.
However I do like Mabelean best.
I like Mablean Ephraim better also. It is unfortunate that she and Fox could reach a satifactory agreement. Divorce Court and Mablean have become interchangeable in many households. It would be difficult for any one to fill Judge I like Mablean Ephraim better also. It is unfortunate that she and Fox could reach a satisfactory agreement. Divorce Court and Mablean have become interchangeable in many households. It would be difficult for any one to fill Judge Ephraim’s shoes. Judge Toler would have more success to get a show with any other name to avoid being compared to the former host.
At any rate I believe it is fair to give the show a chance and judge it on its present merit rather looking back at a ship that has sailed.
As Mablean stated in her press conference God has a different path for her. My prayers go out to both women, but I still miss seeing Mablean.
I think Judge LYNN TOLER IS very great Judge and I can not wait everyday till her programs come on. She always tells it like it is.she does a terrific job on the cases she has to rule on .
Thank you for your time in reading this.
I love all the judge shows – some little harsher than others,
Judge joe Brown & Greg Mathis alittle to quik &
abrupt & i personally would be totally intimidated by them.
I think Christina Perez is fair, and much more soft-spoken &
doesn’t fly off the handle, etc. Some of these cases are crazy,
but guess that’s why they get on TV! Whats everyone’s opinion out
there? Who’s your favorite, what’s the craziest
case you’ve ever seen?

Hi All,
This is venu.
this site deals with Lynn Toler Taking Over Divorce Court.
Divorce court
I enjoy watching Judge Toler make sound judgements daily. She is down to earth, impartial, sensible, personable while professional, and just. In as much as I uphold God Almighty as the ultimate judge of the universe, I acknowledge that Judge Toler acts as a vessel to carry His justice to litigants on Divorce Court for irreconcilable differences. Where there is a glimmer of hope for the marriage to survive, Judge Toler encourages, yea–even facilitates, the spouses to reconsider their sacred vows and save their marriage. I have the highest regard and respect for Judge Lynn Toler.
