We still don’t know who we’re playing, but we now know the time.

The MLB has released the official game times for the World Series, with Game 1 being played here at Progressive Field. First pitch is at 8:08 p.m. for the first four games, 8:15 p.m. for Game 5 if needed (pffft…IF? Right.) and 8:08 p.m. for Games 6 and 7, again, if needed.

Right now the LA Dodgers and Chicago Cubs are finishing up their matchup in Chicago.

  1. Gotta wonder if Fox announcers will be less biased against the Tribe than TBS was…they made the games almost unwatchable with their obvious preferences for Boston and Toronto.

I have friends coming here from Chicago to try to score tickets if the Cubs win. They probably won’t get them, as they are not super-rich. So they wanted to know where they could go have a few drinks and watch the games and not get killed for being Cub fans.

I said “Good luck…ain’t no such place.” If it’s Tribe vs. Cubs, I guess I told them right. Right?
