In case you missed it, a naked Chagrin Falls man was the cause of a multi-car accident on I-71 last night that left several commuters injured and hundreds more completely bewildered after the man fled his overturned vehicle on foot, and ran for more than a mile in his birthday best before being captured by police.

WCPO‘s John Genovese was on the story yesterday evening and has the details:

The naked man, Tracy Martin, 44, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio sped down the left-hand shoulder in his 1994 GMC pickup truck, sideswiped four cars and rear-ended a fifth, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Then, troopers said, Martin’s truck hit the median, flipped and slammed into a sixth vehicle.

After his truck stopped Martin got out of the wreckage and took off running.

  3. I’m assuming he was on something pretty crazy. Maybe he saw the lines from the road coming up and chasing him.

  4. Don’t fret John. The incident is a reflection on the individual, not, “your” pristine city. Interestingly though, subsequent reports made no reference to Chagrin Falls. Clearly, I guess they saw your comment, and, clearly, what John says matters (lol).

  6. Maybe he took his clothes off because he had several tarantulas crawling around inside his clothes.
