An after-party featuring food, games, local live music and more beer follows.
“It’s an event that draws 21 year olds and 51 year olds. Exercise, beer, party — those are three words that all generations can get behind,” says National Beer Mile co-founder Rob Goldstein in a press release. “Combining them all into one experience adds up to the Best. Saturday. Ever.”
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds will host the event. Registration costs $35 in advance, $55 on race day.

The Flats Beer Run had a wild ride for a few years – starting in the late 1980s – on the northeast Ohio road race circuit……and several beer companies sponsored road races – which were often linked to a national series – in the halcyon days of lacing up the waffled-soled shoes and takin’ it to the streets.
