Ohio already has multiple craft beer trails and a buckeye candy trail, so it was really only a matter of time before the state got an official Holiday Lights Trail.

Put together by TourismOhio, the brand new trail includes about 30 Christmas light stops with a handful of dazzling displays in Northeast Ohio. The goal, according to TourismOhio, is to feature the best of the best in the state.

The Northeast Ohio spots include:

-Cleveland Public Square Holiday Lights, Cleveland
-Ashtabula County’s Lights on the Lake, Ashtabula
-Christmas in Peninsula, Peninsula
-Deck the Hall at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, Akron
-37th Annual Holiday Tree Festival, Akron
-Joy of Christmas Holiday Lights Festival, Columbiana

While it would be a huge undertaking to visit all of the lighting displays in the state, cruising through the regional spots could easily be accomplished throughout the holiday season (and offers a great excuse to get out of the house).

Find the downloadable map of holiday lights right here. Note that many of these displays don’t begin until after Thanksgiving.
