This free event strives to unite readers and writers in the Cleveland area. And this year’s Inkubator, located at Cleveland Public Library’s main branch, is the largest yet, featuring a book swap, an open mic night and workshops hosted by different authors.
For those not looking to become the next Hemingway, have no fear. This five-day event offers workshops across the board, ranging from The Craft of Comics to Public Speaking: The Art of Audience-Author Synergy.
Inkubator is hosted by Literary Cleveland, a nonprofit organization that represents passionate writers and readers in Northeast Ohio.
“I think everyone is getting on board with the fact that Cleveland needs a better writer’s scene,” Literary Cleveland member Dairian Heard told News 5 Cleveland.
In addition to organizing this event, Literary Cleveland hosts regular workshops on writing, from mastering the haiku to writing the perfect sex scene.
