They say the bad weather is coming our way, Cleveland. We’re hoping that the massive car crashes riddling southern Ohio today won’t be coming with it.

Along I-75, I-275 and I-71, white-out conditions and ice along roadways set off chain reactions resulting in upwards of 100-car pileups, according to one estimate. At least one death has been reported.

You can use ODOT’s new OHGO real-time traffic map to check out highway conditions ahead of time. Protip: Avoid yet another gigantic pileup by not checking the website while driving.

  1. Yeah, that was a rough day back then. Also, people in southern ohio have no idea how to drive in snow.
