Wild horses couldn’t drag this couple away from their dream wedding. But when a rock legend was booked for the same space and time as their reception, someone had to budge.

Both alumni of Ohio State, Chhoeun and Craig Callahan had booked Ohio Stadium for their May 2015 wedding months ago without ever being told another group had already booked the space: The Rolling Stones.

Prior to the May 30 nuptials, a compromise was struck. The Callahans would pardon the Stones for intruding on their reception. In turn, Ohio Stadium provided concessions and tickets to the concert for everyone in attendance of the wedding, proving that you can’t always get what you want, but when the Callahans try, they can get way more than they bargained for.

That night, the Stones concert lit up Ohio Stadium with a fireworks display and nearly every one of their hits while the Callahan party rocked the night away on the floor. To enhance the newlyweds’ fever dream of a reception further, the Stones even played the official rock song of Ohio, “Hang On, Sloopy.”
