Do you smell that? That’s not just garbage rotting exponentially faster under the heat dome. It’s a little more carcinogen-y than that.

According to Reuters, two environmental groups Wednesday said that Ohio is tops on a list of 20 states with the most toxic air pollution. Pennsylvania and Florida followed at the two and three spots.

The report from the Natural Resources Defense Council and Physicians for Social Responsibility bemoaned the coal and oil power plants that puff toxins into the air, citing electricity generation among the top culprits for those little nuggets of sickness-causing joy floating through the Buckeye State’s airspace.

“Dude, that is totally coming from Michigan, not us,” not accepted as an excuse.

  1. Do any of you really believe that air just stays within the states borders? I get so sick of these idiots doing emissions checks on a few counties and not the whole state and then don’t have an answer when the fact that there are no industries left to pollute is brought up. This is stupid.
