Crews worked early this morning to clean up after a tow truck collided with a semi on the Ohio turnpike, spilling hundreds of boxes of cereal across the road and shutting down traffic for three hours.

The accident happened near Toledo on the eastbound-side of I-80. Using bulldozers, workers eventually cleared the tasty treats, though it would have been easier and more sensible to simply send a call out for hungry early-risers to congregate with spoons and milk.

Best line from the report: “An Ohio highway patrol dispatcher told The Associated Press she didn’t know the type of cereal involved.”
