Wow . . . are things . . . maybe . . . getting better out there?
Now, we’re not exactly leaving work early and filling our inflatable kiddie pool with Cristal, but it looks like the state of Ohio might be . . . damn, we almost don’t want to say it out loud, jinks the whole thing. Alright, here we go: the state’s unemployment number has dropped again — continuing an arguably dramatic, good news slide.
According to the rundown released by the state this morning, in December the unemployment rate fell to 8.1 percent, down from 8.5 in November, which was down from 9 even in October.
The November-December slip was the largest one-month drop in 30 years, and the latest statistics suggest a continuation of that trend. The nitty-gritty details show that Ohio’s workless workers dropped from 496,000 to 469,000. In total, employers have added around 72,400 jobs since last year.
The latest figure puts us below the national unemployed number, 8.5 percent.

I have many years of sales and sales management experience but the power of corporate America hates me for telling them to get fucked about five years ago. Guess who got fucked in that exchange? Me and my poor family. Sorry kids, grand-kids and friends for my stuborness. I am also Vet with honerable discharge (I have DD 214). I am also a college graduate but in stuff like anthropology, sociology, science, education and other such now worthless education. I took no business classes or accounting or law because I did not see them as valuable when I went to college on the GI bill in 72′ after serving four years. Thanks for the education Uncle Sam…I think maybe the writing skills could still pay off.
