  1. If the NBA really wants to revamp the All-Star Party……..

Have five players (one per team) selected from each division for a 1-on-1 tournament, with two additional players picked by fans in a final vote. The games are to 20 points, have to win by two….and no gimmick scoring spots on the floor. Award points per round, so players from the winning division will bank a sweet payday with the champion. The final vote pair each play for one of their voters, with a prize attached to the finish.

Seed each participant through the individual player efficiency: Friday – Round of 16 // Saturday – Quarterfinals // Sunday – Semifinals and Championship. The other events (Rising Stars Challenge, Slam Dunk, 3-point Shootout, Skills, G-League) can be built into the TV schedule….but the celeb game has got to go.
